Q. Is my classified ad free?
A. Private-party classifieds are free
of charge, unless you wish to include certain features
to your ad such as a colored border, photos or eye-catching
animation.
We charge a very
reasonable rate for business classifieds. Dealers
of cars, machinery and equipment, guns, musical instruments,
used furniture and appliances, etc., as well as Realtors,
pet breeders, handy-man services and other businesses
are asked to observe the business-classified rates
when advertising with us.
Business classifieds submitted
as free classifieds will not be approved for publication
on our web site. You can submit a business
classified at
this link.

Q. When will my ad be published?
A. Traders Guide of Texas is updated
periodically throughout the business day, Monday through
Friday. If you feel you may not be viewing the most
recent version of our web site, please refresh your
browser and check your browser cache settings.

Q. I need to cancel or edit
my free ad but I've lost my confirmation E-mail. What
do I do?
A. Fill out this
form to receive another copy of your confirmation
E-mail.

Q. Are there any restrictions
on the content of my ad?
A. Yes. Ads with lewd, suggestive
or otherwise inappropriate content will not be approved
for publication. We do not run ads for adult-oriented
material. We are a family-run web site and
wish to keep the content of our ads family-friendly.
Approval of an ad's content is at the discretion of
Traders Guide of Texas.
All real-estate advertising
herein is subject to the Federal Fair Housing Act
of 1968, which makes it illegal to advertise
"any preference, limitations or discrimination,
based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, family
status or national origin, or intention to make any
such preferences, limitation or discrimination."
We will not knowingly accept any advertising for real
estate that is in violation of the law. All persons
are hereby informed that all
dwellings advertised are available on an equal-opportunity
basis. Note that federal law prohibits discrimination
against tenants with children under 18 in rental properties
except for certain housing for senior citizens.
We reserve the right to refuse
to run any advertisement for any reason or for no
reason. All free private-party classified
ads are subject to editing for clarity, length and
content.
Traders Guide of Texas does
not publish physical addresses (i.e., street addresses,
rural-route addresses, county-road addresses, etc.)
in the "Personals" classification. We
publish only post-office-box addresses and phone numbers
and/or links to the advertisers' E-mail addresses.

Q. I submitted a free classified
and included one or more paid features. The ad was
not approved. Do I get my money back?
A. If a free ad with paid features
is not approved we will either contact you during
regular business hours to discuss editing the ad in
such a way that it meets our ad approval standards,
or your money will be credited back to you.
